Contacting the Vulnerability of 'It's Not My Fault' and Removing Self-Blame

An offering:

"My beloved child…

Break your heart no longer.

Each time you judge yourself you break your own heart.

You stop feeding on the love, which is the wellspring of your vitality.

The time has come, your time...

To live, to celebrate, and to see the goodness that you are...

Let no one, no thing, no idea or ideal obstruct you

If one comes, even in the name of "Truth," forgive it for its unknowing

Do not fight.

Let go.

And breathe into the goodness that you are."

—Swami Sri Kripalvanandji (Bapuji)

The Great Indian Master

The term Self-Forgiveness tends to have some loaded connotations, so as you reflect on this, you might prefer to use the words, especially when down on yourself, 'Self-Compassion,' or 'Self-Acceptance,' if that might fit better for you.
